[18:35] <Deancain> Just finished a film called Urban Decay (a horror-noir film), and have 2 more projects to shoot this year for sure.

He went to school full-time this year, and it was a huge adjustment for all of us... HE IS A FANTASTIC NATURAL ATHLETE (LIKE HIS OLD MAN), and I read to him all the time. He loves adventure stories, stories about animals, etc...

If by some miracle they decided to do a reunion movie for the show, would you be interested? Although it would be difficult without Lane Smith. We were very sorry to hear of his death last year.

[18:45] <Deancain> Yes, Lane's passing was a very sad thing for all of us who knew him. An unfortunate circumstance of life, but he is fondly remembered. I didn't do commentary on virtually Destroyed, 'casue they didn't ask me to... :)

You said you used to watch the eps like you watched football footage to see what you needed to change. What did you change?

[18:50] <Deancain> Well, I believe I rode the horse, and grabbed Lois, but I think it was the stunt double they threw from the car!

[18:50] <Deancain> I thought I did a decent job of lifting her onto the horse, but one can always improve!

Did you have any ideas about what kind of scripts you would have written for that? 19:00] <Deancain> Surprised that Rang and Bone didn't get picked-up, but that situation turned out to be very lucrative for me.... Not disappointed about Clubhouse too much. I felt that the show was missing on a lot of beats, and if I had been the head of the network, I probably would have cancelled it, too. Great concept, but we didn't execute.

[19:15] <Deancain> My Principal in elementary school had lost his right hand to a meat grinder as a teenager. I was in trouble one day, and he had me in his office. He was writing with his left (good) hand, and I was staring at him. I forgot why I had even been sent in in the first place...

[19:18] <Deancain> He knew I was staring...all the kids did, and he said to me..."I didn't always write with my left hand. I was a good athlete, like you. Well-liked, like you. But I had an accident, and suddenly, in an instant, my whole life changed. I had to learn how to do everything with my left hand. Suddenly I wasn't so cool. People treated me differently. But I overcame that. Learned how to do things with my left hand."
